Advent 2021
I know it’s just barely past Thanksgiving, but the first Sunday of Advent is tomorrow! In keeping with the tradition of Advent, I am planning to post four Advent devotionals between now and Christmas. Each one will be relatively short and will focus on one of the main themes of Advent:
(Disclaimer: There didn’t seem to be a consensus on what order the themes should be in. So the order may differ from the order you celebrate these themes in your church.)
In addition, I have created an Advent calendar for the next four weeks. Each day, you can come back and read a new verse pertaining to the themes of Advent. (Consider bookmarking the link!) Normally, this would be a premium resource, but in the spirit of giving that we should all embrace during the Christmas season, I am giving everyone access for free! I hope you enjoy it and use it to keep reminding yourself and your family about the true reason for the season. The first day starts tomorrow.
