Remain in Christ Word Study
The Remain in Christ word study started because of what I was learning in the books of John and 1 John, especially John 15. Over and over, I saw the phrase “remain in me” or “abide in me.”
This study fundamentally changed how I view what it means to live as a Christian. It’s not about “accepting Jesus into your heart” or “fire insurance.” It’s not about saying, “I’m a good person, and I believe in God.” It’s not about going to church every Sunday.
Being a Christian means staying connected to Jesus, day in and day out, no matter what the circumstance. It’s about being obedient to him. It’s about staying faithful to him to the end of your life.
The Remain in Christ word study has 7 lessons:
Lesson 1: What is the Greek background of the word “remain”?
Lesson 2: What does it mean to remain in Christ?
Lesson 3: How do we remain in Christ?
Lesson 4: Why should we remain in Christ?
Lesson 5: What are the rewards of remaining in Christ?
Lesson 6: What does it mean to bear fruit? (3.54k views)
Lesson 7: What are the consequences if we don’t remain in Christ?
I hope this study is as meaningful to you as it has been to me.
