Welcome to Lesson 4! In this lesson, we'll discuss some potential barriers to building a daily Bible reading habit. In particular, we'll focus on finding time to read your Bible each day and minimizing distractions during the time you've set aside to read your Bible.
Daily Bible Reading
If you need access to the Bible Reading Plans, you can find them in the Introduction post:
Downloads
In your file downloads for each lesson, you will find several files.
Lesson Activity
You can find the lesson activity here: Time Inventory
Lesson Transcript
The lesson transcript gives you a word-for-word written record of the content in the video lesson. This is great for those who are hard of hearing or for those who prefer to read content rather than listen.
PowerPoint Slides
Four options are available for downloading the PowerPoint content.
Option 1: Slides only; in color (best for on-screen viewing)
Option 2: Slides only; in black and white (best for printed viewing)
Option 3: Slides with lines for notes; in color (best for digital notes)
Option 4: Slides with lines for notes; in black and white (best for hand-written notes)
Survey
Click the button below to view the survey and answer the questions.
You can also use the survey questions to reflect on the content and how you will use it going forward in your own life. You will never be forced to answer a question. If you don’t feel comfortable answering a question, you can skip it.
Note that the survey feature does NOT work in Substack’s app (at least at the time of this writing). If you click on the survey button in the app, it will take you to Grounded in the Bible’s homepage, not the survey. So you will want to access this survey outside the app (through your email or Grounded in the Bible’s website).
