As we reach the conclusion of 2021 and look forward to 2022, I wanted to do a look back/look forward post. I know that many of you have subscribed recently and may have missed some of the great studies from before you joined, so this post will provide a review of the studies that have been posted since Grounded in the Bible started in April 2021. Feel free to go back and look through these studies as you have time!
Then I also want to provide an update on some of the new features that will be coming in 2022 as well as encourage you to choose a Bible reading plan to keep you in the Word each day in the new year.
2021 Bible Studies
Blameless Word Study (5 lessons)
Armor of God (7+1 lessons, 2 versions - Minecraft, non-Minecraft)
Bible Essentials (9 lessons so far, plus more coming in 2022)
Characteristics of God (3 lessons so far, plus more coming in 2022)
Advent (4 lessons)
2022 Updates
Most of January will be spent finishing up some of the beginning posts for the Bible Essentials and Characteristics of God studies. Then I have a bunch of ideas for new studies in 2022. I’m so excited to dig into some new topics!
I also want to introduce two new features in 2022:
Witness Wednesday: This will be a discussion post where you can share stories of how you have seen Christ working through other people. This will be posted every Wednesday.
Songs of Scripture: This will be a series that highlights songs with lyrics based directly on Scripture. This series will be published at random times whenever inspiration hits and will be in addition to the normal weekly studies.
Both of these new features will be added as new “sections” in Grounded in the Bible. If you are already a subscriber, you will automatically get these emails. If you don’t want to receive these emails, you can go into your account and modify your subscription so you only receive emails for the sections that interest you.

There are many other options out there for Bible reading and study. If none of these jump out at you, go find a plan that does!
Grounded in the Bible Business Cards
As a reminder, I have business cards available for Grounded in the Bible. If you are willing to display some of these cards at your church or place of business or hand them out to those you know, let me know and I will send you some for free! Thank you for spreading the word!
Thank you for your faithful subscription to Grounded in the Bible. If you haven’t subscribed yet, now’s a great time to start! Receiving the weekly Bible studies is free. (If you want access to additional resources, a paid subscription option is also available.)
As we head into a new year, the mission of Grounded in the Bible remains the same: to provide you with weekly Bible studies that are based directly on Scripture. My only goals are to point you to Christ and for God to be glorified.
In Christ,
Karen
