Can you believe that today marks 3 years of writing Grounded in the Bible? I don’t know about you, but I’ve learned a lot in the last 3 years! God has truly grown me through this endeavor, and I know my spiritual life has been enriched by the time I’ve spent writing Bible studies each week.
As time passes, change happens. So I have one administrative change to announce. Due to some changes with my course hosting platform and the ever-expanding tools that Substack offers, I’ve decided to change how I offer courses to readers.
From now on, courses will be published right here on Substack!
For each course (or each module for larger courses), subscribers will receive a single post with links to each of the lessons in the course or module. Free subscribers will be able to see a preview of the course lessons, and paid subscribers and founding members will have access to the entire course as part of their paid membership.
The first course I will release with this method is one you’ve probably seen me mention before: Making Time for What Matters: Prioritizing Daily Bible Reading in a Busy World.
It will be released this Saturday, April 27.
As a reminder, here are the benefits of the different levels of subscription:
Free subscribers will receive the weekly Bible study post along with other features such as Witness Wednesday and Songs of Scripture.
Paid subscribers will receive all free posts as well access to Spontaneous Ponderings, James Method verse mapping posts, and all courses. Cost: $5/month or $50/year.
Sample Spontaneous Ponderings post unlocked to preview: The Work of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s Life
Sample James Method verse map post unlocked to preview: 1 John 2:10
Founding members receive all paid subscriber benefits for LIFE! With a one-time investment that is equivalent to two years of an annual paid subscription, you will be upgraded to a lifetime paid membership. Cost: $100.
For more details on the different subscription levels, please see Grounded in the Bible’s About page.
Thanks for coming along for the ride! I look forward to learning with you and growing in Christ together in the coming year.
In Christ,
Karen
Congratulations on your 3 years! So happy for you! God bless.
